Diabetes is when the glucose or sugar in the blood is too high, blood glucose is the primary source of energy and comes from the food we eat. This diabetes is when the body does not properly process food for use as energy. We need energy for almost everything like internal functions of the body, repairs, building, and maintaining body cells & tissues.
When the stomach digests food, the carbohydrate (sugars and starches) in the food breaks down into another type of sugar, called glucose or sugar, which our body uses to give us energy. In this process, an organ, the pancreas, plays a vital role by making a hormone called insulin. Insulin helps glucose get into the cells of our bodies, where energy is created in the form of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate). When the cell needs to spend energy to accomplish a task, the ATP molecule splits off one of its three phosphates, becoming ADP (Adenosine diphosphate) + phosphate. Thus insulin is the essential hormone required to enter glucose into the cells. It is the mechanism of generating and spending energy in our bodies.
There are three types of diabetes generally prevalent:Type-1: It is an auto-immune disease in which the immunity system of our body attacks and destroys the beta cells of the pancreas, which is responsible for producing insulin.
Type 2: This is the most common form of diabetes prevalent. It is a lifestyle disease. In this, the body cells start to resist the effect of insulin. Therefore glucose cannot enter the cells. Instead, the glucose remains in the blood, and more quantity of insulin is required to perform the same function. It is also called insulin resistance diabetes.
Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that develops during pregnancy and is caused by hormonal changes in pregnancy and genetic and lifestyle factors. There are an estimated 72.96 million cases of diabetes in about population of India.
We have been helping people reverse diabetes for the last ten years and have successfully reversed diabetes of more than 500 patients.
We reverse diabetes with some diet & lifestyle changes and with phytomedicines & nutrients.
