Large number of ailments in humans can be cured without medicines. The fact that we tend to become dependent on chemicals for proper functioning of various life systems is quite common.

We indulge in this because, medicines work faster than any natural alternative healing process.

Whenever we obtain quick results, we are attracted to it.

This is the reason that in spite of the availability of innumerable methods of healing a particular disease, patients prefer visiting hospitals to get the perfect pill.

Practicing medical professionals, too have easy choice of prescribing tablets for quick medical relief.

Many health issues can be tackled by natural means if they are addressed timely. Some common ailments have been discussed.

COLD,COUGH,SORE THROAT WITH MUCOUS: Consuming chicken soap may not be good for the soul but it surely works very well to reduce the inflammation of the organs of upper respiratory system. The chicken soup consists of amino acid cysteine which helps in thinning the mucous membranes in the lungs. In addition the hot and steamy soup may help to moisten the nasal passage. Due to the moist passage the inflammation as well as the dehydration is highly reduced.

HEADACHE: Coffee, tea and chocolate are a great source of caffeine. When there is severe headache, the blood vessels tend to enlarge. The vasoconstrictive property of caffeine promotes in narrowing down of the blood vessels and restricts the blood flow, thereby providing relief from the pain. Therefore, consuming moderate quantities of tea, coffee and chocolate is fine.

VOMITING AND NAUSEA: Ginger has been used for ages to treat nausea and vomiting. It is the most effective, cheapest and the safest way to relieve gastrointestinal pains and disorders.

CONSTIPATION: There are certain natural compound which have association with fibre contents. Flaxseed which is easily available for consumption and is rich in compounds like polyunsaturated fatty acids and fibres can play a big role is providing relief from constipation.

WOUNDS: Honey heals the wounds. It has lot of bioactive content that enables the healing process.

SKIN IINFECTION: Natural compounds called phenols are present in oatmeal. Their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties are used to reduce itching and irritation of the skin that arise due to various other health conditions.

HICCUPS: Studies have shown that hiccups can be controlled by making use of the process of friction in the oral cavity. The studies showed the use of sugar granules causing friction in the pharynx or oral cavity.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS: There are antioxidants present in green tea. Regular use has shown to improve the condition of rheumatoid arthritis.
