Amar developed a severe case of bronchial asthma at the age of three. It was difficult for his parents to see him struggle to breathe. Consequently, the little boy took several medications and used a nebulizer (a breathing machine that mixes medicine with normal saline) to receive his albuterol treatments. But he didn't tolerate his medication well. Because it has a stimulant quality, Amar had difficulty falling asleep and struggled with heart palpitations. More discouraging was that he could not run, play ball, or participate in even the simplest activities, even with medication. He frequently fought colds and made many trips to the ER when he had trouble breathing.
The most frightening time came on Amar's fourth birthday. He developed a cold & became very ill, had a fever of 105- degrees temperature, and an X-ray in the ER revealed a serve out-of-control asthma & a case of pneumonia. Fortunately, the birthday boy survived this severe illness, but it weakened him, and his underlying asthma remained a severe problem. Few us think of our children possibly dying from pneumonia these days, but the scary reality certainly crossed the minds of Amar's parents.
Amar continued to have problems tolerating the doctor's prescribed medication; they did everything medically possible for him. Their answer wasn't good enough. His father began to look into other potential therapies to help his son. As his father told me Amar's story, he remembered that it had been in March or April when they decided to experiment with our therapy to see if it might help. He recalls Amar would stay near the edge of the swimming pool, barely venturing out into the water. But by October- November, his son was swimming the entire length of the pool. Within December, Amar changed from a child who could virtually do nothing physically to one who could keep pace with other children. Amar also started playing football.
Amar was not only able to play, but he excelled in the sport. He could discontinue most of his medicines and needed his inhaler only occasionally. Amar is now 13 years old and continues to be active in sports. He has chosen to play football and hockey and enjoys a life neither he nor his parents thought possible.
The profound therapy of treatment with nutritional medicines and a clinical diet plan results in life-changing effects. This young athlete continues to take our therapy & we have added a little grape seed extracts & extra vitamin C to his diet. It was terrific for his parents to see their son, who could not do the usual daily routine of work and sports, turn into an active son. And they certainly don't miss the emergency room visits.
